Sauteed Tilapia With White Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 medium Tilapia filets
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Old bay seasoning
  1. Apply salt, pepper, and old bay seasoning to both sides of fish.
  2. Heat olive oil on medium-high heat.
  3. Drop filets into oil and cook 2-3 minutes per side.

Sauce Ingredients

  • One cup whole milk
  • 1 Tbsp fine chopped garlic
  • 1 Tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tsp Texas Pete or Tabasco
  • 1 Tsp self-rising white flour
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch black pepper
  • Lime wedges
  1. Heat milk, butter, cheese, salt and pepper until boiling in small sauce pan.
  2. Reduce heat to medium.
  3. Add all other ingredients and stir aggressively for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and spoon over fish filets.
  5. Squeeze a lime wedge over each fish filet, serve hot, and enjoy!
