They’re building a new road and bridge near my home. I’m excited for the road to open next year, because it will make traveling to US1 much easier from my neighborhood. This is a shot of the construction area and walkway that’s currently being constructed. Shot at night at ISO 400 and f8. The exposure length was 40 seconds.

Death & Destruction
They’re building a house next to mine. I’m not happy about it, but perhaps the saddest part is the tree carnage. I rescued an entire Laurel Oak tree which I’ll use for building furniture in 1-2 years.
Something Green – Photo Challenge Day 4
I thought hard about finding a green subject that wasn’t a plant, but didn’t come up with anything that interesting. So here are some green tomatoes that Tina is growing in planters. Shot in macro with my Yongnuo 50mm lens at f2.5 and ISO 200.
Clouds – Photo Challenge Day 3
Okay, honestly, the highlight of this photo isn’t clouds, per-se. This is the smoke trail left by the Space-X Falcon Heavy launch which I took Rylan to see earlier today. Even from 70 miles away it was a really exciting show. I shot at Avalon State Park with my stock Canon T3i and 18-55mm lens.
