Lake Okeechobee
After seven years of living in Florida, and thirtyish years of wondering what it actually looks like, I finally visited Lake Okeechobee today. The iconic body of water in the center of the Florida peninsula did not disappoint. We did some hiking and drone flying. Video footage coming tomorrow!

Childhood Memory – Photo Challenge Day 10
More than any other childhood memory, I remember romping around the woods near my home in Virginia. It was, for a period, a wonderful place for a child to grow up. I’ve retained my respect and love of nature into adulthood and still try to spend time outdoors whenever I can.
