It’s hard to choose a single subject for a photo titled “Someone You Love”, but I chose my beautiful wife, Tina. I can’t say enough about how amazing a person she is, and I’m truly fortunate to have her in my life <3
After seven years of Florida life, I finally found an alligator. Albeit, it was at the Palm Beach Zoo, I think it still counts 🙂
Today I challenged myself to the eighth day of my photo challenge. This photo is representative of my daily routine of coffee and WordPress in the morning. This is one of the only routines I practice regularly – coffee and lots and lots of reading in the mornings. At Automattic, we spend a lot of time catching up on the latest happenings via Slack, IRC, and the WordPress.com Reader. Communication is oxygen!
This is my favorite star photo from Argentina, which clearly shows the Milky Way Galaxy and many stars not visible from North America. What’s really amazing is that this is a relatively short exposure, and much of what you see here was visible to the naked eye.
The clarity of this shot isn’t great, but that’s not necessarily the focus of this shot (see what I did there?). You can pretty clearly make out the satellite moving horizontally through this shot, but if you look closely you can also make out a shooting star moving vertically. Pretty cool shot to capture.
